Allan Thompson brings more than 25 years of cybersecurity expertise to his role as Co-founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of AcceleTrex Corporation. In his long tenure as a senior executive for pre-IPO and early-stage companies on both U.S. coasts, Allan led teams in building next-generation product and service solutions that resulted in the multi-billion-dollar IPO with Trend Micro and multiple successful mergers that included IntruVert Networks (acquired by McAfee), Senforce (acquired by Novell), Reconnex (acquired by McAfee), DataGuise (acquired by PKWARE), RedSeal Networks (acquired by STG), and Zenedge (acquired by Oracle). Allan’s executive expertise and grasp of cybersecurity challenges, strategies, and solutions positions AcceleTrex to rapidly scale transformative go-to-market strategies under his visionary yet pragmatic leadership.
Tom Masucci applies decades of senior sales and business development experience to his role as co-founder and executive vice president of vendor and member manager. Over a 25-plus-year career, Tom held senior sales roles with Nokia and HP and led regional and global solution sales teams for pre-IPO companies. Among them were IntruVert Networks (acquired by McAfee), SIEGE WORKS (acquired by Fishnet Security), Ounce Labs (acquired by IBM), RedSeal Networks (acquired by STG), Solarflare (acquired by Xilinx), and Wurldtech Security Technologies (acquired by GE). Tom has hired, trained, and led national sales and systems engineering teams, consistently meeting or exceeding goals for quota attainment and breaking new markets. With Tom’s deep technical understanding, his strategies, leveraging policy, enforcement, operations, and reporting, provide the foundation for measuring outcomes that satisfy all stakeholders in the decision-making process.
A technologist at heart who is equally comfortable addressing a room full of executive decision-makers, Mark Townsend is Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of AcceleTrex Corporation. Mark is a recognized expert in information security and networking, with more than 25 years of experience meeting or exceeding sales goals, enabling customers, bringing new products to market, and co-authoring industry standards. Mark authored and holds a U.S. patent for a method to respond to cybersecurity intrusions on network systems. He held senior technology, sales, and professional services roles with cybersecurity startups Invicti, Privafy, and RedSeal Networks (acquired by STG). Prior to that, Mark led professional services and systems engineering teams at Cabletron Systems and Enterasys Networks. He has been a featured conference speaker and panelist, an invited expert to the Trusted Computing Group, and now leads technical strategy, from ideation to execution, for AcceleTrex.
